If you've been to our original location in Dunwoody, Georgia, you know that we're all about community. Our Chamblee location brings that same spirit to life. Inspired by the city itself, Moondog Pub & Grub is a place where everyone can come together — four-legged friends included on our dog-friendly patio!
It was fate...
After the success of their first location, Moondog Growlers' co-owners and spouses Tommy and Felicia Burda always had one answer when asked if they'd consider additional locations, "No!" But as time passed, and with a nudge from Chamblee's former mayor, the idea of expanding to this fun, artistic, and dog-loving city began to grow. The dream took shape in 2023 when a chance discovery of the perfect location changed everything. The spacious spot in Chamblee's Open Container District was right along a bike and walking path, complete with more parking available than many Chamblee establishments, a semi-secluded area in back for events/play and plenty of space for private events and live music. To the Burdas' dismay, it was also perfect for food service. And so, they did what they said they'd never do: open a second Moondog location, this time as a full-fledged pub and restaurant.Moondog Pub & Grub opened in November 2024, serving up the craft beer the original location is known and loved for, but this time alongside American pub fare, wine, and spirits.
